Kiosk Computer Services opened its doors in March 2005. On March 9, 2005 we installed our first 2 kiosks in Zola’s Café Doré coffee house, on Main Street in Whitehorse. By August 2005 we had 14 kiosks in 11 locations over 3 communities. These locations included Hotels, RV Parks, Stores, a Gas Station, and the Whitehorse International Airport. The communities included Carcross, Whitehorse, and Haines Junction. The demand for our services has been overwhelming! In December 2005 we implemented advertising services. Both the private and business community can now purchase advertising space on our kiosks. Again, the response has been overwhelming and interest is growing! In May 2006, we will expand our services to Watson Lake. In an effort to serve the growing demand for public Internet services in the Yukon, we expect to have about 25 Internet kiosks serving the Yukon public by June 2007.
